August to July on one sheet
Splitting a school year across two calendar-year charts is the single most common planning frustration teachers report. An August-to-July layout keeps the autumn and spring terms on the same page, so a unit that spans the winter break is still visible as one continuous stretch.
The generator handles the year rollover automatically: months from August onward carry the starting year, and January onward carry the following year, each labelled explicitly so there is no ambiguity.

How to print your calendar
- Choose your paper size before downloading. The sheet is drawn at the exact dimensions of Letter, Legal, A4 or Tabloid, following the international paper size standards.
- Download the PDF file format file, or open it in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- In the print dialog set scaling to 100% or “Actual size”, never “Fit to page”, so the grid keeps its measured proportions.
- Match the printer’s paper tray to the size you picked. For Tabloid (11 × 17 in), use a printer or copy shop that feeds 11 × 17 stock.

- Can I start the academic year in September instead of August?
- Use the yearly generator and set the year you need, or print the August-to-July sheet and ignore the first block. A September start is on the roadmap.
- Are school holidays included?
- Public holidays are marked for the region you choose. District-specific breaks vary widely, so those are left blank for you to add.
