Free Calendar Generator is part of Tim's Printables, a printables library published by Tim van de Vall since 2013. The site exists for one reason: making a calendar that prints correctly should take thirty seconds and cost nothing.

Who makes these

Tim van de Vall has been designing and publishing free printable material for teachers, parents and students since 2012. Tim's Printables has served millions of downloads of worksheets, templates, charts and calendars.

Over that time the most common support question was never about design. It was about printing: a calendar downloaded as an image, scaled to fit, and came out with grey edges and cramped date cells. This site is the answer to that. Every sheet is composed as vector artwork at the true dimensions of the paper you choose, then exported as a PDF that prints at exactly the size it claims.

How the calendars are built and checked

Layouts are drawn in code rather than assembled from templates, so a Tabloid calendar is composed at Tabloid proportions rather than being an enlarged Letter page. Dates come from the Gregorian calendar, week numbers follow the ISO 8601 week date standard, and public holidays are calculated per year against published sources including the list of federal holidays in the United States, with observed dates shifted when a fixed holiday falls on a weekend.

Before a generator goes live it is test-printed on Letter and A4 on a home inkjet and on Tabloid at a copy shop, checked at 100% scale for margin creep, and spot-checked against the calendar for at least three different years, including a leap year.

Privacy, cost and how the site is funded

Calendars are generated entirely inside your browser. Nothing you type — no title, no subtitle, no chore list — is uploaded to a server, because there is no server-side generation step at all. There is no account, no email wall and no watermark. The site is funded by advertising, which is what keeps every generator free. Read the privacy policy or the editorial policy for detail.
