This daily planner generator builds an hourly schedule sheet with a time column, half-hour guide lines, a priorities checklist and a notes panel. You set the start and end hour yourself, so an early shift starting at 5am and a hospitality shift ending at midnight both fit on one page.
Set your own day length
Most printed day planners assume a nine-to-five day and waste half the page on hours you never use. Here the start hour and end hour are yours to choose, and the row height is recalculated so the hours you selected fill the available space exactly.
A short window, say eight rows for a school day, produces tall roomy rows. A long window from five in the morning to eleven at night produces compact rows that still carry a readable label and a dashed half-hour divider.

Priorities and notes
The side panel splits into a top priorities list with printed checkboxes and a ruled notes area. Three to five checkboxes is deliberately fewer than most to-do templates offer, because a daily plan that lists twenty tasks is a wish list rather than a schedule.
Switch the side panel off and the hourly grid expands to the full page width, which suits appointment books, tutoring logs and clinic sheets where every entry belongs on a time line.
Printing a stack
The sheet is undated on purpose, so one export can be printed fifty times and used for fifty days. Print double-sided to halve the paper, or print on Tabloid and fold to A-size for a booklet-style planner.
If you want dated pages instead, generate a monthly calendar for the reference dates and keep it clipped to the front of the stack.
How to print your calendar
- Choose your paper size before downloading. The sheet is drawn at the exact dimensions of Letter, Legal, A4 or Tabloid, following the international paper size standards.
- Download the PDF file format file, or open it in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- In the print dialog set scaling to 100% or “Actual size”, never “Fit to page”, so the grid keeps its measured proportions.
- Match the printer’s paper tray to the size you picked. For Tabloid (11 × 17 in), use a printer or copy shop that feeds 11 × 17 stock.

- Can I change the hours shown?
- Yes. Set any start and end hour between midnight and 11pm and the schedule redraws with those rows filling the page.
- Does it include half-hour slots?
- Each hour row carries a dashed centre line marking the half hour, so you can write on the hour or on the half hour without the sheet looking cluttered.
