This monthly calendar generator builds a clean, print-ready month grid for any month between 1900 and 2100. Choose the month, decide whether the week starts on Sunday or Monday, switch holidays on, and download the PDF. Nothing is watermarked, nothing needs an account, and the file prints correctly the first time.
How the monthly calendar generator works
Every option in the panel redraws the sheet immediately, so what you see is exactly what prints. The generator lays each month out as a true seven-column grid with a bold weekday header, square date cells and enough white space inside each cell to write two or three appointments by hand.
When you are happy with the layout, the download button writes a vector PDF in your browser. Vector output matters: the lines stay razor sharp at any size, the file is a few dozen kilobytes rather than several megabytes, and text inside the file remains selectable and searchable.

Options that change how the month prints
Turn on the notes column to add a ruled sidebar beside the grid, which suits meal plans, shopping lists and weekly goals. Add ruled writing lines inside each date cell when the calendar will be filled in by hand, or leave the cells empty for a cleaner wall calendar.
Weekend shading helps the eye find Saturday and Sunday at a glance. Week numbers add a narrow left-hand column following the ISO week convention, which is useful for project planning and for anyone working with European colleagues.
Paper sizes, including Tabloid
The generator exports to US Letter, US Legal, A4 and Tabloid. Tabloid is the interesting one: at eleven by seventeen inches it is exactly twice the area of Letter, so a month printed on it reads clearly from across a kitchen or classroom. Most home printers cannot feed Tabloid, but nearly every print shop and office copier can.
Because the layout is redrawn for the paper you select rather than scaled after the fact, margins, font sizes and line weights all stay balanced. A Tabloid calendar is not a blown-up Letter calendar; it is drawn at Tabloid proportions from the start.
How to print your calendar
- Choose your paper size before downloading. The sheet is drawn at the exact dimensions of Letter, Legal, A4 or Tabloid, following the international paper size standards.
- Download the PDF file format file, or open it in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- In the print dialog set scaling to 100% or “Actual size”, never “Fit to page”, so the grid keeps its measured proportions.
- Match the printer’s paper tray to the size you picked. For Tabloid (11 × 17 in), use a printer or copy shop that feeds 11 × 17 stock.
